Who Needs A Home Based Business?

It doesn’t matter what your stance is on where the economy is headed or what the economists have officially labeled our global financial circumstances, I think we all can agree that it hasn’t been great. The U.S. dollar has really underachieved and “Mr. Unemployment” has shown how determined he is to make a name for himself.

A stagnant approach to getting out of this rut is definitely not the way to go. You can be the kid who gets his lunch money taken from him every day or you can learn self-defense by providing an income for yourself and punch that bullying economy right in the mouth.

People will tell you that it is too risky to start a business, the banks will never give you a loan or you have never owned a business and that now is not the time to start. These people are wrong …sort of. The banks might not give you a loan and if you never owned a traditional business, the investment and learning curve are both very steep and you may not be able to sustain for very long if things don’t go your way.

The prototype of a good home based business actually can benefit from an economy that struggles. Determined people look to make a change when crisis is on the horizon; they will not usually have that mindset if everything is status quo…if it isn’t broke then don’t fix it mentality. A Home Based Business grows because you are able to find like-minded people, willing to look at an opportunity that might be different than they are used to but have the vision to see the value in it.

A home based business has a gradual learning curve that is softened by strong leadership, structured systems, low investment and the ability to increase your income because you help the people you work with grow their skill set. The mentality of helping grow your team, make them more productive and giving them the tools to succeed is actually the foundation of what all businesses were at one time built upon. Unfortunately greed, corporate driven objectives and in some cases sheer laziness have contributed to our economic strife.

This is a perfect time to get into a home based business. I have been in traditional businesses. I know how much it costs and how long it takes to re-coop your investments. There is a learning curve to both home based and traditional businesses, but consider the investment, and it is a no-brainer.

  2. Hey Dominick,

I agree and I think that starting a home business will make more and more sense to an ever-increasing amount of people over the next few years. Those people smart enough to get started now will reap the financial rewards in the coming years.
